Utah coach Kyle Kepler reflects on the host women's team earning its best finish in Pac-12 Conference Cross Country Championships history with a 52-point effort at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Utah, which placed sixth at the conference final March 5 in Washington, improved on its third-place performance from 2019 in Oregon. The Utes placed five scorers in the top 16, led by former Boise State and Colorado standout Emily Venters taking third by covering the 6-kilometer layout in 20:40.7. Cara Woolnough was seventh in 20:55, Simone Plourde placed 11th in 21:03.7, Bella Williams secured 15th and Arizona transfer Keelah Barger grabbed 16th, both clocking 21:11 for the Utes, who joined the Pac-12 in 2011.
