Andrea Markezich, a junior at Washington, earned eighth place in the Pac-12 women's cross country championship race at the Ag-Ops course in Riverside, Calif. Markezich covered the 6-kilometer layout in 19:37.7 to help Washington finish fifth with 93 points. She improved from placing 23rd last year at the conference final in Utah.
